Electric Relaxation was the second single from A Tribe Called Quest’s third album Midnight Marauders. It contains samples from “Mystic Brew” by Ronnie Foster. The beat is notable for being a three bar loop, uncommon in hip hop music. Along with Lyrics to Go on the same album, this was one of the first instances of such a loop.
