
Assoicated Press sits down with the newest musical sensation, Wiz Khalifa. Wiz talks about when he started singing in his music and more.

Wiz Khalifa debuts at the #2 spot with “Rolling Papers” selling 191,777 albums the first week. Huge congrats goes out to Wiz, the whole Taylor Gang, and Rostrum for all their hard work! Also if you havent copped “Rolling Papers” yet make sure you go get that!

Wiz Khalifa stopped by MTV RapFix tonight where he talked about the success of “Black And Yellow“, his cover shoot with Danny McBride, and always having a pop influence in his music. Also, Sway shows Wiz Khalifa some things Snoop Dogg said about him, and he talks about the advice Snoop gave him. They talk about Wizs open relationship with Amber Rose, and then proceeds to bring her on the show to talk about Wiz.

Wiz Khalifa’s first major release, Rolling Papers, dropped on Atlantic Records yesterday. And now Wiz is blazing the trail doing promo work for the disc. He stopped by “106 & Park” yesterday and also did an in-store album signing. And of course he couldn’t do it alone…Amber Rose was by his side. See pics inside…..

To start off the interview Wiz Khalifa tells Nick Huff Barili the multiple meanings of naming his new album Rolling Papers (including that he doesn’t write his rhymes any more) and why there are only 3 features on the album ( not Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross or anyone else). Wiz continues by saying that he is doing a whole album with Snoop for the High School movie soundtrack and that he is going to work with Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka when he rolls through Atlanta. Wiz says if he had to pick a favorite track on his new album it would be The Race because it is a good representation of who he is as an artists right now. Part one of this interview ends with Wiz telling us the best Taylor Gang or comment he has ever heard or at least recently. In part 2 of Hard Knock Tv’s conversation with Wiz Khalifa, Wiz talks to Nick Huff Barili about collaborating with Currensy on the track Rooftops which in on Wiz’s album Rolling Papers. Wiz elaborates that his radio promo run has been so exhausting that when he has any down time he tries to get some sleep in which is why he hasn’t had much time to hang out. Wiz explains why he doesn’t perform Say Yeah any more even though he still has love for that song. Wiz also address the situation with Odd Future and how he met them and squashed the issue of both parties using “Rolling Papers” for titles of albums. Lastly Wiz talks about what it was like to hear Black and Yellow during the NFL playoffs and how people from other regions were repping Pittsburgh.
