BET did favors for the Jean-Claude La Marre-directed film, Gang Of Roses, by rotating it often on their movie block over the years–exposing the low-budget film to a wider audience who would possibly enjoy seeing LisaRaye McCoy, Stacey Dash and Lil Kim on screen together. The 2003 movie received the go for a sequel recently and shortly after began filming with Teyana Taylor, Amber Rose, Claudia Jordan, Kellita Smith and Rocsi Diaz as the main cast.
Gang Of Roses 2 made headlines for all the wrong reasons a little over a month ago when it was revealed that Taylor and the director, La Marre, had gotten into a very physical altercation after his refusal of her leaving set to seek treatment for a painful toothache.
“I have never had a man raise his hand at me. Its very emotional for me, its a very sensitive subject and at the end of the day, right is right and wrong is wrong.” Taylor said of the situation.
There is no word if the 20-year old completed her scenes, but we have clips of each of the main characters. Does Teyana bring the same emotion on screen?
