Making his King of the Dot debut, California welcomes URL veteran and Dot Mob member K-Shine. Backed by Mook and Rex, Shine has faced down some of the biggest names in the Ultimate Rap League, Tsu Surf, Calicoe, and Shotgun Suge. A representative of Harlem, NYC, K-Shine is known for his loud style, combating his opponents with aggressive punchlines and hostile bars alike. After recently embarking on a battle tour with teammate T-Rex and Battle America, K-Shine arrives in California to take part in the legendary Vendetta event against his first ever West Coast competitor Pass.
A problem since he stepped onto the scene at 15, Pass (formerly Passwurdz) has kept his battling sword sharpened. Always a crowd pleaser, the Fresh Coast representative hails from Oakland, CA and boasts an impressive resumé against challengers such as Hollow Da Don, Daylyt, and Philly Swain. Pass has also gotten the attention of international names, traveling to Sweden to battle Henry Bowers and Toronto to face off against Skelly. With this being his third King of the Dot appearance, hometown hero Pass takes on K-Shine at the KOTD West Coast Vendetta event. Will his laid back flow and creative rhyme schemes be enough to topple Shine?

The state of California has produced many a battle rapper, one of the most
noteworthy being The Saurus. Hailing from Monterey Bay, the freestyle legend has a list of accomplishments almost as long as his battling resume. After gaining fame in a classic 2005 Scribble Jam run, The Saurus went on to win the famous freestyle contest twice, in addition to becoming back to back World Rap Champions with his partner Illmaculate. Adding to his trophy case, the California native journeyed to Canada, where he beat then KOTD champion Hollohan in an impromptu title match. Although no longer King of the Dot, The Saurus has traveled all over North America and the world to continue his battling streak, racking up an impressive list of high caliber battles with the likes of Dizaster, Iron Solomon, Real Deal, Illmaculate, Eurgh, Cortez, and Pat Stay. With intricate rhyme schemes and a penchant for freestyling, The Saurus faces British battler Cruger in what is sure to be a heated style clash.
Making his debut in the first ever Donʼt Flop battle, co-founder of the league
Cruger made it a point to not let the battling scene forget his name. Despite being heavily involved as part of the Donʼt Flop staff, Cruger has run through a long list of competitors in his days as a battler. Beginning with U.K. locals in his league, the British rapper has expanded his horizons, traveling overseas to both California and Canada to accept battles with talented rappers from other leagues. As a frequent guest of King of the Dot, Cruger has squared off against Jack Shitt and Charron in Canada, making himself a fan favorite in KOTD. As his notoriety in the battling scene has increased, the English emcee has gotten the attention of the veterans, such as U.K. rapper Enlish and Florida representative Madness. Known for his unique delivery and ability to pick his opponents apart with clever angles, Cruger has earned himself another battling legend in this match with The Saurus.

Born and raised in dirty Jerz, Arsonal is one of the world’s most popular and respected battle rappers. From his days destroying the competition in the Lions Den and on Fight Klub to his new era dominance in the Ultimate Rap League, King of the Dot and Grind Time, there are few names that attract the attention that Da Rebel does. His battles with Hollow Da Don, Conceited, Hitman Holla, T-Rex, Okwerdz and Pat Stay are all classics, and all bouts that Arsonal would never claim to have taken a loss in. Brazenly aggressive and destructive with his vocal style, Arsonal’s pen game focuses on the creation of long lasting schemes and rhythmic acrobatics. His battle with Illmaculate will be his second for KOTD, and his third in the Fresh Coast, where he has had nothing but overwhelming success in the past.
Portland’s finest battle veteran Illmaculate has been one of the most highly regarded MCs in the culture for over ten years. Getting his start in the freestyle era and breaking out with his Scribble Jam victory in 2004, Illmac went on to win JumpOff’s World Rap Championships two years in a row shortly after. Once the written format became dominant, Illmaculate didn’t miss a step, performing in high profile matchups with battlers like The Saurus, Dizaster, Bender, Eurgh, Hollow Da Don and Conceited. Illmac is one of the most well rounded battlers in the world, possessing a commanding delivery, a complex lyrical style and the ability to go off of the head at a moments notice. His battle with Arsonal will be his sixth for KOTD and one of many he has put up in his home division of the Fresh Coast.

Since the dawn of the new era of battling, few rappers have shown as much passion and work-ethic as DNA. Getting his start with Grind Time as one of the youngest battlers in the league, he quickly proved that age was not a factor as he moved up in the ranks. After facing opponents such as Rone, Loe Pesci and P-Nut, DNA moved onto the Ultimate Rap League and debuted against Oun P. Since then, DNA has faced top-tier opponents such as T-Rex, Tsu-Surf, Young Ill, X-Factor, Big T, Tech 9, as well as the highly publicized match against Dizaster at KOTD: Flatline. With his sharp wordplay, rapidfire delivery, and uncanny freestyle ability, DNA has shown that he is able to win over any crowd, even when the odds are seemingly against him. Eurgh will be DNA’s first overseas opponent, and his second battle for KOTD.
Ever since he entered the JumpOff WRC Qualifiers in 2007 at the age of 17, Eurgh has been a force to be reckoned with. At the time, known simply as Arkaic’s partner, Eurgh made his mark with his lyrical wit, and also for his infamous angry speech after discovering that he and his partner would not be going to the finals. Since then, however, Eurgh has become a forerunner in the British battle scene, starting Don’t Flop in 2008 with fellow rapper Cruger, a league that has earned British battlers local and international recognition. On top of his contributions as a battle league owner, Eurgh has remained an active battler, having faced top-tier international opponents such as Illmaculate, Kid Twist, PH and Thesaurus. Eurgh is best known for his precise rebuttals and creative wordplay, as well as direct and incisive angles. His battle vs DNA will be his 3rd for KOTD, and his 2nd on the Fresh Coast.
This is considered by many to be the battle of the event.
