Clearly one of the best out of the new URL recruits, JC has already proven that he can hang with the top dogs. Despite an apparent age disparity, the Pontiac, MI native has posted classic matchups with Chilla Jones and Yung Ill, having earned his spot as front runner. Utilizing a clean, sharp flow combined with an edgy creativity, what JC lacks in experience he more than makes up for in pure talent. Not one to back down from a challenge, the new comer has already made appearances in 5 separate leagues, usually facing off against some of the best from the respective divisions. Making his first appearance in King of the Dot, JC agreed to take on the West Coast heavy hitter Caustic in one of the headlining battles from KOTDWC’s next event, Alcatraz.
One of the veteran members from the legendary West Coast scene, Caustic (formerly Kid Caustic) has solidified his place as one of the battle game’s most destructive forces. Well known for never pulling punches in his bouts, the Union City rep digs up dirt on his opponents and uses it to obliterate them in the ring. Having been in the ring with top tier opponents such as 24/7, Rone, and John John da Don, Caustic is no stranger to tough competition, and lately has been on a murder spree with the intent to secure the top spot in his division. Effortlessly able to switch between his humorous, laid back style and an aggressive, hostile approach, Caustic combines wit with bars to pick apart his opponents. Back in King of the Dot, Caustic steps up against JC in this next release from Alcatraz.

Grind Time Now’s highest viewed battle rapper Conceited, travels down to Florida to take on Ozone legend Jonny Storm. This one round battle was filled with more punchlines than your normal regulation battles. Who do you think won?

In the middle of setting up for a festival in downtown Orlando, Grind Time Now got the opportunity to book Conceited vs Jonny Storm. Being that both emcees were on tour, they agreed to one round. With Jonny Storm actually having to fly back to his home town to make this happen, we are thankful we could get both emcees to even agree to battle. Hip Hop at its finest.
